Alvon mention interior design

When Alvon Mention, a young professional working in tech, approached us with the idea of designing his first apartment in Gulshan, he had one clear request—create a space that felt calm, clutter-free, and deeply personal. The 2BHK apartment, while compact, had great natural light and a functional layout, which gave us a strong foundation to build on.

Our design direction leaned into modern minimalism, where simplicity, warmth, and intention guided every decision. We chose a muted, earthy palette—off-white walls, grey-toned furniture, warm oak wood, and black accents—to bring balance and quiet sophistication. In the living area, we removed visual barriers to create an open, fluid space where Alvon could work, relax, and host friends. A custom-built floating console served as both TV unit and storage, while a compact work nook by the window made the most of natural light.

How it works?

The bedroom was transformed into a serene, hotel-like retreat with a platform bed, a custom upholstered headboard wall, soft lighting layers, and linen-textured curtains. Throughout the home, we incorporated clean-lined furniture, smart storage, and a few personal touches—like handmade pottery, black-and-white photography, and indoor greens—to keep the space warm and lived-in.

Main results

Every design element had a purpose, and every square foot was considered. The result was a modern, minimalist sanctuary that reflects Alvon’s lifestyle, values, and love for understated design. As Alvon said during the final reveal, “This feels like a grown-up version of me—clean, composed, and completely comfortable.”
